A clear phone photo of one eye, in daylight, taken from about 6–12 inches away. The iris should fill most of the frame. Don’t worry about perfection — the app checks the photo and asks for a retake before anything is rendered, and retaking costs nothing.

The app checks the photo before rendering and gives you specific retake guidance when it needs a sharper or better-lit image. Retakes are free, and you do not pay until you have seen a usable preview.

Yes. You see the rendered artwork and can preview it on black or white before checkout.

Four files: the high-resolution artwork on a black and on a white background, plus a matching phone wallpaper in each (1290 × 2796 — fits iPhone and Android). The artwork file is high-resolution enough to print yourself for personal use.

Yes. Choose Duo at the start and upload one iris photo for each person. We render both separately and compose them together.

The artwork usually renders in a few minutes. Your download unlocks immediately after payment is confirmed.

Yes. The artwork file is high-resolution and suitable for personal printing at home or through any print shop. Printing and framing services are not part of this launch.

The pack is for personal display, printing, and gifting. Contact us if you need commercial usage rights.

Not during the digital-only launch. The wall mockups show how your downloaded artwork can look when you print and frame it yourself.

Use a sharper photo or a different angle and render again within your available render allowance — signing in gives you more renders than a guest visit. Contact us if a paid download has a technical problem.

It is used only to render your artwork, never to identify anyone or train a model. The source upload is processed for the render and is not stored in the durable artwork record.

We use a custom rendering pipeline to transform iris photos into cosmic artwork — yes, there’s machine learning under the hood. But we don’t sell the technology. We make the artifact. The tool is a means; the art is the product.

Yes. Create it with a photo you have permission to use, then share or print the finished files for the recipient.

EyeJoy is part of Mad Growth BV, based in Amsterdam. It was started by Jeroen, who wanted to give his partner something nobody could buy off a shelf.
